31 Days of Party Planning {Day 25: Entertainment}

Welcome back to day 25 of my 31 Days of Party Planning series!  To catch up on the rest of my series, head on over here.

Today’s topic… Entertainment.   If you’ve budgeted some money on the side for entertainment, here are some great ideas that can help add a bit of oomph to your partay!

When on the search for an entertainer, I think it’s best to ask other parents (you know and trust) for references, they may give you a great referral or insight on a great deal; or head on over to your local library as well.

A classic idea for kids parties are magicians and clowns, but if you prefer something different,  there are lots of other options available that you and your kids may like:

    • Balloon artists (their creations double as party favors)
    • Hairstylists or manicurists (call a local beauty school for suggestions)
    • Face painters
    • Deejays

Remember when you call a potential entertainer, it’s best to ask what age group their show is designed for before you mention your birthday child’s age.

Make sure that you do a background check on any entertainer you hire for your party.  Not only is it a good idea to make sure you can trust this person with your child(ren), it’s always best to protect your kids.
